Talk to the people who do the work

The quickest way to a real answer is a phone call: there are three of us and one of us picks up. If the car is easier to show than describe, send photographs and we will come back with a range before you commit to anything.

  • Phone 0113 496 0721 Straight through to the unit. If we are mid-polish it goes to voicemail and we call back the same day.
  • Email hello@arclightdetailing.co.uk Best for photographs. Four corners and a close-up of anything that is bothering you.
  • In person Unit 7, Kestrel Court Come and look at what is on the bay. No appointment needed just to talk it through.

What to send us

Five minutes with a phone saves a wasted trip.

  • The four cornersStand back and take one photograph from each corner of the car, in daylight if you can.
  • Anything that bothers youA close-up of the scratch, the chip or the patch of haze, with the light at an angle so it shows.
  • The car and its ageMake, model, year, and whether it has been polished, coated or filmed before.
  • What you want from itKeeping it as it is, lifting it before a sale, or protecting it for years. It changes what we recommend.

If it is easier to talk it through, call. We would rather spend ten minutes on the phone than quote for the wrong job.

What happens next

Three steps, and no chasing.

  1. 01

    We reply the same day

Weekdays before half five, you hear back that day. After that it is first thing the next morning. If we need to see the car before we can price it, we say so rather than going quiet.

  2. 02

You get a range, not a hard price

From photographs we can tell you roughly what the car needs and what that costs. The firm number comes once we have seen it under the lights and taken depth readings, and it does not move afterwards.

  3. 03

A date, and the day it is ready

One to two weeks for detailing, two to four for correction, coating and film. You get the drop-off date and the day it is back when you book, and one car per bay means those dates hold.

Finding the unit

Kestrel Court is off Hookstone Road on the south side of Harrogate, five minutes from the town centre and a six-minute walk from Hornbeam Park station. It is a trade court rather than a high street, so use the full address in your map app rather than the business name.
